Incredible number of pockets

There are never too many pockets. It's a crazy amount in this bag. Why and for what are they all needed? How I use it: When I'm on the bus carrying my backpack, there are a few things I'd like to have access to that I don't like using in my coat pockets. That's my cell phone, my book/Kindle, my glasses and sometimes a hat or my very small 8 ounce Contigo mug and maybe lip balm and tissues. This is done so that while I'm carrying a backpack at the bus stop, I don't have to undress and rummage through the backpack looking for things. I will not use a shoulder strap. I received a black bag. TLDR This is the size I need and fits my commute. PROS: I like the size. I was looking for a very small bag for the bus ride. Enough to include just the things listed above. I didn't want it to be too high. That's the size I like. Maybe I'd like it better if it was an inch or two smaller. Height and width are perfect. It has short handles for hand or forearm carrying. (What I was looking for) Somewhat rainproof (Seattle) Outside pocket for my phone Wide base that stands alone on my lap when I'm on the bus Zippered main compartment that opens wide and stays wide open for easy access to contents while I am on my knees The handles are soft and comfortable it does what I need and this size was hard to find. CONS: Pockets. Seriously, I'll never use 80% of it. There are even pockets in the pockets! There are 7 of these zip codes. There are 2 that don't have a zip and there are two patch pockets for a phone. That's 11 bags in one tiny bag! It seems overdone and I just forget where I put things. And all those zippers only add weight. With all these silly pockets, why isn't one of them for a small water bottle? I wish it was a little more textured/rigid. The main zipper does not work easily or with one hand. It's a very modern look and a casual bag that doesn't quite go with my vintage look. All those shiny zippers with big shiny pull tabs and you know how many damn pockets there are! Plus large silver glitter loops for a strap I'll never use. I would never use this bag for anything other than commuting because it's very casual. Like going out in public in yoga pants when you're not going to the gym. Haha.
