Excellent temporary dye for white or light colored coats

Photo 1 and Video 1 were taken on Thursday when we dyed our Great Dane puppy green for St Patrick's Day. The paint is easy to apply, just wear rubber gloves. We used 1.5 tubes just for the white part of our 110 lb Great Dane. Photo 4 is what happened when she rubbed against me or I petted her for the first hour or so after I put paint on her. Photo 2 is the Friday of St. Pat's weekend when we took her. She has received so much love and attention! It was a real hit! Her green color did not rush at any of the passers-by or people who stopped to pet her because they didn't do it for long. Photo 3 is a Sunday which was St Pat's Day and you can see the color has faded a lot which we were very happy about. The paint has the consistency of baby paint, like lotion, but a little watery. The application was generally easy. This depends on whether your dog enjoys rubbing him with foreign liquids. We did it outside, in our concrete yard, and all the drips were washed away with a hose. Our dog continued to lean on us and transfer color to us, but it was relatively easy to wash off with soap with small microbeads in it (see Gojo soap on Revain). We stayed outside with her while she dried, about 3 hours. We wouldn't have to worry about her as much if we didn't have a pool and she could come in if we left her alone. In fact, she only climbed into the shallow, ankle-deep end for a second, and we saw a cloud of green fall off her, which of course added to her drying time. Not much paint was removed because it was a short little walk. We've read that blow-drying seals the color better, but it's huge and has too much surface area for blow-drying, so we'll just let it dry. .When we found that she had dried up, we let her back into the house. As long as she didn't rub her fur against something vigorously, the green color didn't transfer. We have light gray sofas that had no green on them, even though she played on them. I petted and hugged her as much as usual, of course I got the worst of the green stuff on me even after it dried, but it washed off easily again. It's been a week since we dyed her and she's still a little green, mostly on her chest because we pet her back and head more. I'm sure if we give her a bath (which we will soon) everything will be fine. Overall I would buy this again because it did exactly what I wanted and temporarily turned her fur green. It takes a long time to air dry before a dog is ready to approach furniture, clothing, or people, but just prepare them a day in advance.
