Let's get down to business. If you listen to terrestrial (conventional) radio, you will notice a degradation in sound quality, but this is not a determining factor. If you have satellite radio you will have no problem with this antenna. It makes my gladiator look way better than a factory sword towering over a truck that's constantly rocking. It is very easy to install (take pliers or a small wrench to remove the factory antenna) and easy to remove for an automatic car wash. The base remains firmly screwed into the slot and the main part of the antenna can be removed manually by twisting.
