DISK CONTROL IS KEY! THIS IS ONE!

Here it is. It has flat wires that you can't feel. You can cover it with a waterproof case and you'll be fine. That means a lot less (no?) washing, which is the enemy of these things. The connection points on the pillow are in the right place in the vertical part and go unnoticed during use. The heating is excellent, even and extends to the edge of the bed, which is nice but not for everyone. And now for the most important thing. controller. It's so easy! Plenty of other models come with wacky, redesigned digital controllers with 4-6 smooth buttons that are virtually indistinguishable when fumbling around in the dark while dozing. You have to look at the display with your eyes to set the temperature. Poorly! This baby has an on/off button and a huge clock face! That's all. Brilliant! You can set it up in complete darkness without looking. That's a big deal. Think about it. You don't need 15 crazy tricks of before/after/timer/heater/this/this/settings controlled by a super bright 30 watt 8 button LED display that will stare at you all night like the Eye of Sauron. Useless. Aside from being useless, actually annoying! The controls on this unit remind me of the giant Toyota 4runner HVAC controls. Deliberately large and easy to use. You can control this pad's controller while wearing sealskin gloves. No joke. It also has 3 nice legs that keep clean very well. They're erased with a snap of your fingers and hold like new again. Good. No double tape needed to keep the cables from pulling it off the bedside table. My previous junk block controller (SunB) was too light and had crappy legs that caused a lot of nightly crashes (sorry to wake you up dear) as I fiddled around trying to figure out which of the 4 identical buttons I was pressing would have. Just stupid design. It's 100% true that knobs are absolutely better than buttons. Cars still have volume and heater knobs for the same reasons. They are the best solution for specific applications. It happens the same way. Unfortunately, a casual layman like me seems to understand this concept better than most mattress topper designers. I had about 5 of these. All different brands. It's one.

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • Not everything is as good as it says
