My child is picky about the fit and feel of their shoes. He didn't care what they looked like, but he often complained about them. bend badly; 2. too tight; 3. too loose; 4. The laces are broken (so there must be Velcro); 5. has poor toe protection. Finally a shoe other than Keen (half the price) that ticks all of its boxes including a slight velcro closure.
