The iDu LabCam adapter works very, very well and I am VERY happy to finally have a very fast, simple and straightforward way to capture high resolution images and videos. We have several makes and models of microscopes in our lab (composite, stereo zoom, etc.) and the equipment of each microscope with traditional cameras and imaging software is outdated. Not to mention that the image quality of traditional lab cameras can't compete with the iPhone camera (note - we mainly use brightfield). SO easy to use, this adapter attaches securely to your phone and keeps your camera right in the middle of the light path. Note that it does not screw onto C-mount microscope adapters, but inserts into the eyepiece tube. It's worth it for how well designed and built it is and how much time it saves.
