This body shaper is just as advertised and I at 5 foot 10 and 160 LBS fit the medium. The snaps are a chore but not as bad as the tummy trainers, and the zipper smooths out the snap area. I have a flat butt and the area transitions to a non elasticized area which gives me a little pop. The top meshes pretty much where the bra starts and I definitely fiddle with it to make certain there is no weird top bulge. I dont feel like houdini putting it on. I will say the cinching at the waste could have been a little more, but I dont think I could have went to a small. Lastly the opening down under is adequate in size the zipper is so much better than snaps or something like that. I told my daughter to buy one too. You dont buy them because they are so comfortable but nothing too torturous.
