Advantages: 1. Low cost - great bang for the buck2. Good sound quality 3. Waterproof4. Where to attach a carabiner Cons: 1. Slow Bluetooth connection - other speakers connect after a few seconds2. The control buttons are hard to see - black on black (I painted them white)3. Forgets the volume setting - you have to turn up the volume every time you start4. You need to hold the "+" button to increase the volume, not just press it5. The unit is very large compared to other speakers - it is 7-5/16" long x 2-3/4" diameter in the shape of an octagon6. Doesn't turn off easily, too few buttons controlling too many functions I think. Separate volume and power buttons really help. But what do you want for $11? I have previously purchased an Anker waterproof speaker (Anker SoundCore Sport Portable Bluetooth Speaker [IPX7 Waterproof/Dustproof, 10 Hours Playtime] Outdoor Wireless Shower Speaker with Enhanced Bass and Built-in Mic) which I think is a better, more compact device . but it costs $40.
