I first bought these tablets for my senior chocolate lab assistant, Bear. We tried glucosamine, chondroitin, and a vet-prescribed pain reliever for his joints. These pills came the closest to relieving his discomfort. He has since gone over the rainbow bridge but I am giving it to our 2 newly rescued dogs. Why? Since they contain other valuable ingredients (e.g. turmeric, bromelain extract, yucca extract) combined in one delicious tablet, I do not have to give them these supplements separately.
