In anticipation of a trip to Disneyland, my wife decided my daughter needed some beautiful themed earrings. These Fake Sterling Silver Mickey Mouse Earrings are just the ticket. They consist of three silver circles soldered together, which are set with zirconia on the head and ears. They are hallmarked S925 which should mean the silver they contain is 92.5% pure...ie sterling silver. The remaining percentage is usually filled with copper or other metals. In general, sterling silver is safe for all but the most sensitive of ears. The silver circles around the crystals are thick and solid with open backs. The stem of the earring is firmly soldered. Like all good earrings, they have notches to keep the base from falling off. Stylistically they are not a perfect copy of the Disney product as the ears are too small and set too high above the head. to perfectly match Mickey's silhouette. A comparison with official Disney earrings in the same style shows how far they are from them. However, they're a third cheaper than official Disney products, and unless you look for them, you'll probably never notice. Your proportions are not quite right. Conclusion: A lovely set of sterling silver Mickey Mouse earrings that are well made and attractive. While they don't quite match the proportions of Mickey's head, most people are unlikely to notice, and the much lower price point compared to the Disney product definitely makes them a good buy if you're on a budget. As an extra support, my wife bought a second pair.
