The purchase probably won't let you down overall if you're not a gamer, but there may be some minor annoyances here and there. I would have given it four stars overall if it cost as much as a 910, but alas, I must find fault, and so I can only give it three. Arguments in favor follow below: High-quality construction, sound, insulation, and soundproofing. Contains drawbacks: The most configured: the OS defines the device as two devices, one with superior sound quality (headphones) and one with inferior sound quality (headset). Just *one* of these gadgets can be used at a time. Therefore, there will be terrible sound quality when utilizing a microphone. There are zoom conferences where the audio quality doesn't important, therefore this isn't an issue. But if you listen to music or use a gaming device with a microphone while you're talking, you're going to have a rough time (at least in the games I played; I googled the forums for technical help and games and Sony). If you don't want to play with a microphone, you'll have to switch off the headset. They weigh quite a bit and have a relatively limited contact patch with the head, thus they can start to push on top of the head after an hour or two of wear. Due to the antiquated BT 5.0, they have a relatively short run time per charge (as compared to contemporary competition). The noise reduction is only effective at suppressing lower frequencies, thus high ones from the outside still get through. Unfortunately, only mobile systems have configuration software available for use. One and a half options are available in the program.
