Who grew up in the 80's and didn't see Tretorns? I love these shoes. They replaced a pair of white nylite trainers that I had for years that ended up being too worn to wear. And by years I mean about 7 years. The fit is perfect. It goes very well with white trousers or complements the standard men's ensemble of red shorts and blue shirt. Since it is canvas, there were no burglaries. The only real problem is there's nothing Trethorn can do about it: they're white, so don't spill anything on them. Very good shoes, very comfortable and perfect for everyday wear.
