Review on πŸ’‘ Effortless Electrical Outlet Socket Spacers: Streamline Your Power Connections by James Naylor

These little kids did their job

I've upgraded some of the switches and outlets in my house. In the master bathroom, they decided to cut a hole in the mirror and put sockets and switches in the hole. It was fairly heavy chopping work, the cuts were uneven, uneven, or off-center, and not level with the boxes. Also, there was a gap between the box and the front of the mirror. I found Effortless Electrical Spacers and decided to take a chance. Well they did their job. The switch and plug fit perfectly, do not move and are flush with the mirror. There was enough in the kit to get the job done and the extra long screws helped a lot. I used up my stash and bought other sets to have on hand in case I had another problem. A few tips to make it easier to use. Measure the depth and mark the line with a very thin pen or pencil. I used a screw, marked the screw and then marked the pipe. Use a utility knife to cut the pipe as scissors will deform the cut. I doubt this will affect performance much, but I wanted my setup to be very neat. Also cut the tubing about 1/16 inch or less than your mark. The tubing shrinks as you tighten the screws, this helps keep the switch or socket tight. Future. They have worked very well for me and my setup looks great.

Pros
  • Holds the screw securely in place, non-conductive, easy to assemble. (cut with scissors or a sharp knife)
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged
