Easy to use! into outlets

Much cheaper and easier than any other extension cord. I was able to do an entire brick kitchen backsplash with 2 packs and only have a few left. The stone took the wall out almost 0.75 inch from the original packaging. I had a small shipping problem with my first order and the seller was very nice and took care of it straight away.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Modern

Didn't fit my project

This product is a waste of money, go to a hardware store and cut off the screws and rubber hoses, it could be cheaper. or simply less waste of material. I had to go and get longer screws as they weren't long enough for my project. If the screws are the length you need and you're extending a lot of outlets, this is a smart purchase.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some little things

I found this to be a quick and easy way to lengthen electrical switches to fit a new backsplash. This was my first time trying this project and it took me less than 30 minutes to complete all four issues. The flexibility of the foam extension means it's very forgiving when trying to precisely match the depth of the switch to the surface of the tile (just make sure you cut the foam longer than you think you need).

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not Everything Fits

Wouldn't buy again - too spongy; squeezes too easily

Might fit a light switch, but not an outlet. I needed a 3/4" spacer. This product, while easy to trim, is too "spongy". When I first plugged something in, the sponge pad allowed the socket to be plugged in. and the cover attached to the socket is broke so $11.88 was wasted and I had to buy a new cap, sized up which made a rigid pad, worked much better and cost me nothing.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Working but flexible rubber

I bought these so the switch would fit in the electrical box after installing drywall over plaster and batten wall. A simple idea and very long screws are the key to success. Unfortunately, the seal isn't a hard plastic, as I expected, but a thick, dense rubber tube. Thus, when tightening the bolts, the tubing is compressed and the switch plate is never tightened. If the switch or socket doesn't sit flush with the adjacent wall material you'll need to trim it a little longer to get a tighter…

Pros
  • Correct 6 or more sockets or switches included; Economical
Cons
  • No Power

They don't save space like the spacer

Socket not hanging in socket, socket too deep in wall. So when I put the outlet cover on, the cover sticks out further than the outlet itself. They are designed to fit between the outlet and the service box to take up some of that space. However, since it is a soft material (therefore easy to cut to length), they shrink when tightening the screw. And you can only tighten that far or the material will flatten and your screw will end up being pushed into the tube. As a result, the socket is not…

Pros
  • Includes spacer tube and longer screws as an added benefit
Cons
  • Quick start guide

These little kids did their job

I've upgraded some of the switches and outlets in my house. In the master bathroom, they decided to cut a hole in the mirror and put sockets and switches in the hole. It was fairly heavy chopping work, the cuts were uneven, uneven, or off-center, and not level with the boxes. Also, there was a gap between the box and the front of the mirror. I found Effortless Electrical Spacers and decided to take a chance. Well they did their job. The switch and plug fit perfectly, do not move and are flush…

Pros
  • Holds the screw securely in place, non-conductive, easy to assemble. (cut with scissors or a sharp knife)
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged
