Review on πŸ’‘ Effortless Electrical Outlet Socket Spacers: Streamline Your Power Connections by Jeff Henkhaus

Revainrating 1 out of 5

They don't save space like the spacer

Socket not hanging in socket, socket too deep in wall. So when I put the outlet cover on, the cover sticks out further than the outlet itself. They are designed to fit between the outlet and the service box to take up some of that space. However, since it is a soft material (therefore easy to cut to length), they shrink when tightening the screw. And you can only tighten that far or the material will flatten and your screw will end up being pushed into the tube. As a result, the socket is not yet properly seated in the service box and wobbles. I'll look at the big box store for hard plastic spacers of the length I need. Pros: > Soft material - easy to cut with scissors > Longer screws included Cons: > Material is too soft to hold space (product purpose only)

Pros
  • Includes spacer tube and longer screws as an added benefit
Cons
  • Quick start guide
