Review on Retekess PR12 Pocket Digital Radio, AM FM Mini Portable Radio with 📻 TF Port, Backlit Display & Earphone Jack, Ideal for Jogging and Gym (Black) by Bobby Diaz

This little radio is the latest addition to my collection of over 50 portable radios. My observations are: 1. PR12 is a unique model with little competition in the market. Miniaturization is taken to a new level here. Only player radios are that small, but of course they don't have built-in speakers.2. The sound quality is unmatched for a speaker of this size. I could compare it to the sound you get from your iPad.3. The MP3 player accepts memory cards that can play more than ten thousand songs.4. The AM/FM radio has a clear, crisp sound and automatic station search. Within a minute you can store all local stations in the radio's memory.5. The battery must have been specially designed for the radio as a standard 5 volt battery would never fit. This battery is similar to the one you find in your iPod or cell phone.6. Quality costs money. Therefore, I assume that the price of this small miracle will not drop much in the future. What you will not find in this radio: 1. The radio has no clock or sleep timer.2. The MP3 player will display the number of the song being played but not the title.3. The battery cannot be replaced when the radio is old, but I believe the built-in battery can be recharged about a thousand times and the other components of the radio will survive.4. Radio or MP3 has no graphic equalizer.5. The radio is delivered without a protective cover. I found an old leather camera case that worked great. If you are looking for a small size combined with great sound, this is the radio for you. I intend to take it with me on a trip to Europe although I have many other alternatives. I hope potential future buyers will find this review helpful.
