I like this set but lack QC. A chair assembled easily/excellently. the other was problematic. I couldn't speak to customer service but they responded to my written message. They made quick guesses about the problem, but the diagnosis was wrong. Long story short, we got a replacement part and eventually found that there was a plastic cover stuck in the seat. Both parts looked slightly used. There were scratches on the wood. We also see that the chair easily has a nickname. not the best for a swivel seat. Rings must be metal. no softwood. SO. i like chairs They meet my expectations in terms of functionality, aesthetics and ease of use. They are of inferior quality. In addition, companies need trained service technicians who can 1) answer the phone, 2) diagnose the problem and better solve problems.
