I have done about 14 diamond drilling projects over the last few years. I carefully select each set based on subject matter, although I won't be posting or showing most. They're so much fun to do, relaxing, and a relatively inexpensive hobby - well, depending on the size of the portrait you choose. I like the large sizes because the finished product has more definition than the small size which can be a bit blurry unless viewed from a distance. This particular painting was delivered very quickly. The drill is round but it turned out great. I prefer square diamonds. This is a full workout, which means you have to fill the entire canvas. It was packed in a sturdy box - rolled, not folded - and unfolded nicely overnight, with a couple of dictionaries to weigh it down. The kit has all the tools needed to complete the project, the sticky finish is good, and the supply of all the beads was more than adequate. Some of the characters on the screen were a bit blurry, but the character/number key kept me on track. What I particularly like about this picture are the colors. Most of what I've made so far has had a nice light yet deep color. These are pastel colors, soft and cute. When I finish a project, I take out my rolling pin and press down on the image as if I'm rolling out dough. This will set all the beads in place and I have yet to find the drill bits that are coming off the canvas. Very happy with this purchase.
