According to the instructions, these little guys should work for 3 hours without charging. Not correct! I regularly play 4 hour gigs on a single charge and they still go on. But there are other reasons to love her. First the size. You are small! If you've ever used wireless systems, you know that you usually have a pack the size of a cigarette box on your back that slips into your axe, and then a box the size of a cigar box with two antennas sticking out somewhere on stage with laid cables and to the pedalboard. It was great back then, but this thing just plugs right into the jack on the guitar. I haven't tried switching from the pedal to the amp with the second set, but I see no reason why it shouldn't work as long as it's running at a different frequency. Price, $150. said Nuf. Pays off from the first concert. Area; Okay, I don't play giant stages. Mostly small clubs and bars (see video, I play bass in this band) but I go out to check the sound and visit the crowd. I have never lost a signal. Walked at least 70 feet. I mostly use them with bass (because the band is busy!) and I get a clean sound indistinguishable from cable. Full frequency range. Also, and this is BIG, zero sustain! In my last band I stopped using wireless because the system would just shut down if the signal dropped from a sustained note. I play a lot of blues on the guitar and like to hold long notes. That's no problem with these little guys. You can keep him until he's completely dead. I've had them since September 2018. They were immaculate and one of the best buys of my musical career. I highly recommend them. So pros/cons: Pros: Cost: half the price of my old system. Size: tiny! Battery life: Excellent. They sure can play for 3-4 hours (I do this all the time) but you can charge them in minutes so just plug them in when you take a break from your late night gaming. Ease of use: There is an on/off slide switch and a button to change the frequency (which I didn't have to use). Could not be better. Cons: Active pickups: I have a bass with active pickups. If you connect directly to the guitar input you will get a squeak. To fix this, I simply clipped the transmitter to my belt and ran a short cable from the transmitter to the jack (six inches max). This completely fixed the problem. Lately I just play my P-Bass and plug right in. Both work and both sound equally good. LED: It doesn't really bother me, but the power LED on the transmitter is quite bright (see video).
