Edit: I was contacted by customer service who sent me an additional bread box free of charge to compensate for the experience described below. I ordered this product thinking it would make a delightful Christmas present for the special baker in my life. I received a product with many defective parts. I understand that Revain makes these products, but the problem lies with the MANUFACTURER's packaging. The manufacturer basically took all the bamboo boards, stacked them up, and then wrapped them in plastic before throwing them in a box. I thought I was lucky I ordered them so early before Christmas because I had time to return them and get a replacement before Christmas. Well I don't know why I expected the second box to be different but I was very disappointed to find that the replacement box was also broken into pieces. I'm pretty sure they probably already came out of the shipping container from China broken and there's nothing Revain can do about it other than deliver the broken items. It's a cool design, but the combination of bamboo (not a very strong and durable material) and the *manufacturer*'s poor packaging really pissed me off. I'll probably have to cut my losses and try to fix the broken item myself with wood glue and staples before I exchange my Christmas present tomorrow. =(TL;DR = Order 2 as you may have to mix parts and then return 1.
