Uncomfortable fit when walking on the street
I always run in New Balance shoes but have never tried this particular model before. Love the overall look of the shoe, they are comfortable and have great traction on the trail. I've found that I need to wear larger socks when running in these shoes as the heel goes quite high and blisters quickly in regular low-cut socks. I'm also not thrilled with how high the laces are in the front. I have to leave the last few holes open and that makes the fit looser. I think running in cold weather (in thicker and longer socks) is the best choice for these shoes. I'm not sure I would buy them for regular running.
