To do the drywall effect throughout, with all areas going into dryway, I would definitely change out for the more intense drywall plugs shown in my photo. In other words, There is a way around having to put a large plate of wood throughout that area to secure it with greater firmness.Same goes for the round wood disk. Only one was needed and due to the circular hardware on the ends, this blends in. Do note I have three 35 pound plugs behind the longer screws that first hold that round disk to the wall. ONLY then do I screw my hood with two screws onto that disk. Note: BE CAREFUL to raise the bar to remove that bowing when fitting where the hook gets screwed in, hook traveling upward with it and holes carefully marked.Make certain you purchase the weight bearing (35 pounder per drywall plug) that expand as in one of my photos.
