This is a 6mm thick sheet of plastic and you'd guess it will wobble when you put it on your lap. All that's valuable about this build is the palm rest, but then again, it shouldn't cost $50. It doesn't even stick properly to the board. It has no glue and falls off easily when you put the board on your lap. Someone may say: Why get on your knees? Because keeping the wireless keyboard and mouse on your lap should be the main thought. If this thing is for a table, you don't need a board on your table. This "tilting platform" has no tilt adjustment. They include a couple of sticky pads, which again come in handy if you're mounting the board on a table. The whole table itself is a platform. Why do we need a plastic jumping bard on the table? No mouse pad included (product images are deceiving). Why did I give 2 stars instead of 1? Since I super glued this wristband to the board to keep it from falling off, I bought a mouse pad, bought 2 more real self-adhesive wristbands (on eBay) and glued them under the board so I could use it on my lap. So my wife seems to have succeeded, but I didn't. The board is still shaky, but at least it's usable now. But the overall price of this Lego set has increased even more. Overall: Poorly designed, overpriced piece of plastic (costs $10 - great). If I had bought it for myself I would have already sent it back. Think twice before you buy it.
