Have you ever wondered how many different kettles there are in the world? jeeper I looked and looked and searched for the most beautiful design. I ordered two and sent two back. But this one is a keeper! It's beautiful and functional. Here's the thing: You may not know how easy/difficult it is to remove the lid and pour water (filtered through the jug) in until you try. You want a kettle with a high handle and sideways on one side. And who wants to put the kettle on the floor in the morning and try to remove the lid and back? It has a nice and high handle and the top slides out easily but also slides back in safely and smoothly. It's perfect. But most importantly, it's so smooth and beautiful on my stovetop!
