For various reasons, we stock products. We vacuum a lot and have experience with different methods. For the most part we used a competitor's product with heat sealable pouches and also vacuum sealed the cans with a brake bleeder pump. This product is convenient, easy to use and does a great job of vacuuming. The pump is rechargeable and has a lot of power. The containers are very strong and the bags are heavy. The bags are washable and reusable. Everything about it is great except for the cost of containers and packages. While both are reusable, they're expensive, plus none that I could find didn't have free shipping. If they were Prime, that would help. Now, if you're just using them as intermediate storage for leftovers, it might not make much of a difference, but for long-term survivors like us, it will be a problem. So if you're just storing leftovers this would be a good choice, but there are cheaper alternatives for people who may need lots of bags.
