This product is free from silicones, parabens and sulfates which is great. The only ingredient that I notice is phenoxyethanol, a preservative that can irritate the skin and which I avoid. I'm guessing the company listed their ingredient list on their Revain page, which isn't very common. Learn what you want from cosmetics and find out what your hair and skin like and don't like. Just because it worked for your sister doesn't mean it will work for you. It took me months to figure out what worked and what didn't. Due to thinning hair and aging skin, I stay away from harsh chemicals and fragrances. It's crazy when you start sifting through the ingredient lists of popular products and realize they're doing more harm than good! I also pay attention to the environmental aspect (no plastic, no palm oil, no microbeads).
