I am a professional videographer. Today's LED panels are great, but the most commonly used small LED panels provide very harsh lighting, especially for talent lighting. The so-called "diffusers” that come with most panel lights scatter very little because they are located directly above the LED panel. I was looking for a portable option for mobile installations. This diffuser works well. The key is to remove the diffuser from the lightbar for best results, and this option folds nicely into a very portable case. If your LED panel has mostly useless barn doors then you don't need to worry about using velcro to attach to the light fixture as the barn doors will hold it up. I use this on a GVM 480LS or 800D as a key light. The size actually increases the light source significantly, making for a much softer quality of light. Fiction! Anyone who says it doesn't matter is completely wrong. The diffuser provides a much nicer light source especially when photographing talking heads etc. Great product and I will be buying at least one more.
