I recommend this pillow to all kitties that need a cone. My cat HATED the cone and was very happy with this switch! The egg was large enough that she could not reach the ligature area (photos attached) and like all cats she was delighted with the new box. Plus she's a cute little egg (also a hit with our vet visits)! It should be noted that my cat successfully pushed it off in the beginning because the rope used is too slippery for the spring trigger to hold. I bought some paracord and re-tightened it (and added a safety pin for extra security) to keep the trigger from moving when she tries to take it off. However, she didn't try after the first two days, so maybe she was already comfortable with him. This pillow REALLY got wet when she drank water (from both the bowl and the fountain) and when she uses the tray afterwards it sticks! But there's not much you can do about that, because I would prefer this size so that it doesn't get on the bandage. She is 3 years old and weighs 9.3 pounds in case anyone is interested. All in all I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it.
