Works great, maybe just needs a break-in period.
I don't think it's really any louder than my original fan, but it has taken a few times to "break in" so to speak. It sounded terrible when I first started it, but I figured with the huge increase in air I could handle it. Now it's as quiet as my original fan, so don't worry! At high RPM it can move air seriously.
