I had high hopes for this product but was immediately disappointed. I wouldn't buy it again and am actually throwing it away as I just got out of the return window. When I first installed it I noticed that the caps covering/covering the spouts don't fit. I don't mean they're tight or uncomfortable - I mean the caps don't even come close to fitting the fuel line. I couldn't hammer them if the plastic could withstand hammer blows at all. I don't store my gas cans outside so I dismissed that as typical of a cheap Chinese plastic product. I could get over it. However, when I used the canister with this attachment to fill up my tractor this weekend, I immediately got a shower of diesel everywhere. I quickly turned the can over and found that the plastic collar that screwed the nozzle onto the fuel can was cracked and broken. See attached photo. Again, remember that this is the very first use of the product - it has not been fuel fatigued or destroyed over time. No, it was just garbage from the start. It didn't break when I put it on the canister after filling up at the gas station, so the breakage happened sometime in the last week or ten days before I attempted to use the canister to fuel my tractor. The product is a good idea but it is poorly made making it unusable. You can't blame anyone for looking for better solutions than the nearly useless tin cans we have to buy these days. I'm not going to stand there and hold the canister for three minutes while a microscopic hole allows me to drip fuel into the tank at the speed of an eighty-year-old man's urine. I fully support the search for a solution to pointless government regulation. but this item is NOT the one you need. In the meantime I'm again filling the tanks straight from the canister without any injector whatsoever - I'll inevitably spill every time I fill up, but a lot less than yesterday when I tried to use this unwanted product.
