The lamp was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. These lamps have at least 2 tips of different lengths. At first this didn't work in my lamp. After examining and purchasing a lightbulb at a local Lowe's store, I found that the grommets come in a variety of lengths. My mount required a longer tip. This bulb and the one sold by Lowe had no electrical contact. I solved the problem by soldering a large solder pad onto the tip to contact it. Now everything is in order. This bulb was $10 cheaper than Lowe's. I have not yet seen another model lamp with a longer tip. There was no model number on the blown bulb. That was enough for 6 years of regular use.
