My 3 year old daughter is 38 inches tall, weighs 34 pounds and usually wears 3T pants. I bought her a 3T skirt and it fits her waist well. The skirt is long, approximately 15 inches from the top waistband to the bottom of the skirt. The innermost layer of t-shirt material is the same length as the second layer (about 11 inches), so the bottom layer is see-through. My daughter loves the skirt and will wear it every day if I let her. She is rough and wears dresses every day. I wasn't sure if she would like the long tutu, but I bought it (cheaply) after she really liked the short zebra tutu skirts I bought for her Halloween costume. She dresses herself, and usually these tutus appear under another dress. She likes that they twirl. I made her take them off yesterday before skating class because I was afraid he might just get caught on the blades of the skate and not survive, otherwise he survived everything she did to him Has. I put it in a mesh laundry bag to keep it from snagging on anything, then let it air dry. (Except she usually gets it before it dries and starts wearing it again.) Generally satisfied.
