Review on 3M Paint Project Respirator Medium by Nick Andep

It's 3M, so I don't worry about the quality at all. I have used many 3M products, from household items that we all have, to more specialized products that I have always been happy with. I had concerns about the size. I was hoping to use this with both paint and other chemicals I use in my hobby and also for my mom who does her own pest control in her home. I am a small person, my mother is even smaller. I was worried about whether Medium would do it. From what I read while reviewing the product, 3M suggests that medium is suitable for 90% of people, and small and large for people who have trouble installing hardware. Since this is something more important than work gloves or a hard hat, I was worried. The medium one fit perfectly, I'm a very skinny guy and my mum has a rounder face than me, but this one fit perfectly. It took me a while to get used to being comfortable on the bridge of my nose while still maintaining a snug fit, but the pleated rubber seal was a lot more comfortable than I thought and also very forgiving of the fit. I wear glasses, but I have no problem wearing them and a respirator, nor the goggles I ordered to go with them (also 3M, Maxim Safety Splash Goggles). No chance of getting the expensive test they sell to make sure it's perfect, but even in an enclosed space with spray paint, pesticides, or other chemicals I don't smell and have no issues with prolonged exposure. Make sure you get it right. filters to work. I chose 3M because of the quality and wide range of hazard filters compatible with this mask. They are sold throughout Revain and many other specialty locations. Also included are 2 dust covers. These are small white pads that look like dust masks. They are packaged in clear plastic filter caps. The filter itself is a gray cartridge that attaches to the mask and you only need to use one of the white spacers at a time. They are designed to catch small particles (e.g. dust) while the cartridge is doing important work. For some reason, the extensive instructions don't specifically mention this. I am very satisfied with this respirator. It performs exactly as advertised and deserves an honorable mention for the ease and speed with which it can be installed to a variety of surfaces with easy to use zip ties. They can be a little annoying since they're still in your line of sight, but I could easily miss them.
