Review on ManChDa Skeleton Pocket Automatic Mechanical by Kulwinder Hendrickson

This is a beautiful watch - even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. The dial features raised gold indexes against a warm yellow background with a wave pattern. The hands are very elegant, so it's nice to see the seconds hand moving across the dial. The cover itself is beautifully rendered with many details, each smoothly finished in aged bronze. It's easy to wrap, easy to set the timing, has a nice "weight" without being heavy. And it's durable - I accidentally dropped mine on the wooden floor while winding it up. This caused one of the digits, "VI", to become detached and literally float under the dome. I was very upset that I damaged my precious watch - yes I know they are not expensive; but it's great! So I went online, read an article about replacing the droplet numbers, watched a video on how to remove the cover and lens/glass, ordered a watch repair kit from Revain and had the number repaired. The final action, "fixing", took just over 15 minutes, during which time I had the backing and "seal" removed, pressed the crystal with a little effort - it popped back up much easier, when he came out! I had to dig about half a dozen times to get the number on the dial I wanted - the back of the watch is curved and I couldn't find a way to keep it steady throughout the process. And at the same time the mechanism ticked, it never failed - a month after the repair, but it ticks. Surviving a fall onto a hard floor, it survived my amateur watch repair antics with no visible damage to the lid, case back, or plastic crystal. It's a tuff clock! Now in my ineptitude I got extra glue on the dial and that's why I'm getting a second one - I just know in 5 years time I'll be wondering why I didn't get another one as the stain really ruins its looks and the price is what it is reasonable. So thanks to Revain - for the first watch, repair kit and replacement - all at a very reasonable price.
