I've just received my new file and I'm very impressed with it. The file is nicely packaged in a sturdy matte black box with silver embossing. Inside, the binder is housed in a protective black plastic sleeve that feels more secure and luxurious, despite being exactly the same as the one that came with my previous file. Not sure about the usefulness of the cleaning cloth but it comes nicely packaged with the file. Now for the important part, the file itself. I should start with this as I have been using glass/crystal nail files for years but I needed a new one as I had lost one of mine. I was skeptical about buying crystal files online as some of them grind over a smooth glass file (similar to a sanding board) rather than engrave the surface of the file into the glass itself. This is a problem as Emory style glass files tend to be rough and lose their grit over time. I am happy to report that this file is the best version. It has a very thin filing surface cut into the surface of the glass file itself that moves smoothly over my nails and the edges of the file. If there is someone in your life who appreciates a good nail file, this would make a good gift.
