I took them out of the packaging, put on the rubber foot and put them under my bedpost as recommended. I sat on the bed and BOOM! The two at the foot of my bed fell with just me on the bed (I'm only 5ft 2!) I bet all 4 would have exploded under the weight of me AND my 6ft friend. They are meant to help the elderly. People can get in and out of chairs, beds, etc. Oh my gosh I can't imagine the potential injuries for someone who really needs them for arthritis or a hip replacement, we only bought them to have extra under bed space. They look cheap: they're hollow, so naturally the furniture will break through the top, it's only 1/8 inch thick! Furniture leg recesses look deep in the picture but are VERY shallow (move easily if not broken first) You will only receive 4 rubber rings to attach to the bottom edge to protect the floor but you will receive 8 deductions . I bought these to use on our sofa and bed but I couldn't use both sets as there were only 4 floor protectors. They smell horribly right out of the box. Thank goodness Revain has such a painless return policy. They could potentially harm you or your grandparents. They don't cost $25, they don't cost 25 cents!
