Difficult installation due to missing parts

Received my kit today. I can confirm that I have a G226HQL monitor and I can confirm that this mount will fit one of those monitors, but there aren't really any parts that allow this to happen. First of all, I was missing the M6 washer that is listed in the content. But they included 4 M4x12 thumbscrews, which is odd because I don't really need them. The washing machine probably wouldn't help if it was on; The screw that attaches the monitor legs to the monitor only has a couple of engagement threads at the very end, because with the legs, that's all it takes. After you remove the legs, the screw is fully threaded into the nut that the monitor came with and no longer holds the monitor. The washing machine that was supposed to be delivered would not have added enough, even with 4 pieces according to the list of contents. What I ended up doing, as I wasn't interested in a refund and want a replacement, was loosen the two extra screws that came with the monitor which attached a nut in the monitor to the plate, longer screws with the same thread / the same slope. I then used the washers from the washer kit to press the plate against the nut and tighten it. To add stability I used a drywall anchor with the original screw going through the nut and at this point you can't tell my method of putting everything together from theirs. You have to decide for yourself whether this product is worth it. . Having spent just under $20 on it, I don't think I would recommend it. For $20, you're paying about 20% of the price of a 22-inch monitor with built-in VESA compatibility. Change; I almost forgot to mention that if you're using a DVI connector on at least this monitor, you need to be careful with the installation of everything. I found I had to mount at an angle otherwise there was barely enough room to install a DVI cable. With a slight angle and off-center steps, I was able to complete the installation. ● Installing the cable first would alleviate the problem, but there would still be a crease on the cable itself.
