Good stable metal holder, nothing can break while driving. The corner clasps are deep enough to hold your phone in a protective case. Good rubber pads that stay in place. However, there are a few things to note: 1) If you have variable width handlebars that taper away from the center hub, you won't be able to easily use the rubber pads that come with them, or even the thin anti-scratch tape. Eventually it will slide down to the narrower part and weaken. You have to mount and tighten it metal to metal. Surprisingly, it didn't damage the steering wheel in any way. 2) If you leave it on the steering wheel without a phone, you will hear a sound from the clatter of an outstretched hand while driving. It will also tend to fully unscrew due to vibration. However, it cannot fall out. Because of this I added some springs to provide tension to fix this problem. Alternatively, the extension can be screwed in as far as it will go. It's very tiring if you plan to use it a lot and just want to get on your bike and ride. It would be nice if they added at least one spring to add some tension so you can keep it set up for your phone at all times. One nice benefit I've found with your camera being closer to the top is that you can mount it almost vertically and use it to record videos while you ride, just like a GoPro!
