I was about to buy Sony MDR-RF970 headphones which I have owned and loved for several years. The original ear pads are severely detached. I bought these replacement ear pads and at the same time changed the battery in the headphones, which started to drain after about 2 hours. What a transformation. It's like having brand new headphones for about 1/8 the cost of a full replacement of my headphones. The quality of these ear pads seems to be as good or even better than the original ear pads. They were easy and very comfortable. I hope they will last for many years just like the original earpads and I expect they will.
