The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the handle is a bit stiff. Which might not bother anyone, but the grips in my jeep gave out a little. This is for my daughter and not so convenient. Easy to install and great work.

I have a JL with a Sky One Touch cover and have had trouble finding handrails at a reasonable price. They seem to be doing their job! However, Jeep could have done a better job with the mounting points for models with this roof option.

I installed these 8 years ago, and it was necessary to replace them only now - after 8 years of sun, rain, mud (I leave the top in Summer). Installation takes less than 5 minutes, most of the time is due to the fact that the bolts in this part of the roll cage are very long and it takes time to loosen and bolt them.

I have a 2011 Jeep Wrangler 2 door Rubicon and I have red velcro handrails on the front roll bars, red handrails on the rear C pillars and only black grab handles on the windshield pillar. All three options are good and serve different purposes. The handles are heavy, so it will take a long time before one of them breaks. I really like the red handles because they "clap" when you get into the jeep, but I chose the black handles for the windshield so they don't distract me while driving.

The main reason for choosing these handrails is that they match the look of the OEM grips that come with the Rubicon kit that I purchased . The problem with the OEM model is that they sit so far back in the back due to the soundbar that they're uncomfortable for passengers who want to hold onto something. I just installed these buttons, it took 10-15 minutes! They look and feel very solid and accent my Jeep perfectly. I have a 2011 Wrangler and installed these on the windshield A-pillars. So if you do the same you can either use a magnetic socket or use the card trick they show you in the guide. A 10mm head is all you need to mount them with the screws already holding the plastic cover to the roll bar. Both took about 15 minutes to install. I now have two sets of handrails in the rear seat roll bar area. A set with velcro and now right in front of the velcro, perfect for two. The two grab handles on each side of the back are not wasted, my 2007 JK Jeep has a 3" lift, the kids love that they can now climb with both hands using the two handrails. Wow! The directions are wonderful. They are clearly written and include "photos" with step-by-step instructions for the many ways this pen can be used. Good job folks! I bought these because I like how they fit into the screw holes on my 2011 Wrangler's speaker bar. Speakerbar is the best place to grab.
