Great durable shoe for an active kid. The only thing I find fault with is the shiny rubber bands that go over the top. It gives it a tech/non-street vibe and I have a very non-tech, non-shiny toddler and it really shows when he wears them. It's almost like woven tinsel or something. Definitely not a problem as the shoes are great and we live far away so it doesn't matter but I would choose a different model next time. We bought black/turquoise.
