Had high hopes for this and it might all be a matter of preference. Here are my observations, both good and bad: - Length 16.5 inches. Can reach shoulders and lower back. Can reach mid-back depending on size and mobility level. too heavy. Your experience may vary (strength, energy level, dexterity) - very strong vibration, can be good or bad depending on your needs - comes with a charge so I was able to use it straight away - the charge seems to last forever. very nice - comes with a wall charger - has a battery indicator - has a power button that also works as a power switch - the power button is on the outside of the unit, near the head. Can be negative - see below - has multiple head attachments that are easy to rotate and detach Very durable 1. U-shaped massage head (calf, rounded areas) 2. Multi-point massage head 3. Acupuncture* and moxibustion* *Massage 4. Three-point Massage head 5. One-point massage head* Acupuncture head? head acupressure. ** Moxibustion - Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese medicine therapy in which dried mugwort is burned on specific parts of the body. It plays an important role in the traditional medical systems of China, Tibet, Japan, Korea, Vietnam and Mongolia. Okay, so the vibration is pretty strong even on low settings. I feel like my whole body is shaking and I'm a tall lady (tall, big-boned, with lots of extra pillows). The massager bounces everywhere. When I try to get him close to my skin so he doesn't just bounce but slows down or stops. It doesn't seem to stop at higher settings, so it seems to allow for more pressure. but it's more of a vibration than a deep "push". Maybe it's me and you could understand better. Making adjustments on the fly is inconvenient. You must stop what you are doing or turn the knob with your other hand. Depending on which body part you use, this can be uncomfortable, embarrassing, or just downright destructive. It's not like I've reached the zen level with it, but if it were, it would really annoy me. Says it's good for people with neck pain or knee injuries. HOORAY. And because of love. All elements. Please don't let it jump into the bone area. Yes, even tall girls like me have bony parts. MY GOD. NO. And the massager is light enough to get to the bone site. I would go from massaging my shoulders and feeling like everything is ok to hopping around my neck and ugh. My skeleton is cracking! Oddly enough, I tried "acupuncture" (laughs) head to head. Do not do that. Please. I thought it would be good for my lower back but the angle it achieves and the way it just bounces up and down when massaged. I could not get an effective massage. If I turn it just a little bit, it's not felt - the head really needs to have direct, full contact to be most effective. to allow the head (both of you) to have full, flat contact with the treated area. OR if someone uses it on you and they can honor it. I have other massagers that I like a lot more (especially my shiatsu, mmm) that make me feel great, relaxed and dreamy. That's not it. I'll keep trying and maybe I'll find a happy medium that this machine is for. I would be happy if I find a body part that it has really helped. If I do, I'll come back to say it. I really try to figure out what's what in a product. I was going to use this on my desk but don't see myself doing it other than for testing. Let me know if anything changes.
