I bought this jacket to wear while diving. I always get cold in warmer water and would like to stay in it longer. I've worn a full wetsuit in the past, but I don't like the difficulty of putting it on and taking it off. The jacket and pants were a huge improvement. This jacket fits perfectly. I was concerned about how long the sleeves were and how low they were on the hips. I have spent a lot of time on the internet looking for a reasonably priced jacket but was very dismayed at the sizing of many brands. I'm 5'10" and 140 pounds. I have pretty skinny arms and there was a little more room here, but it didn't affect my swim in any way. The bottom of the jacket reached to the bottom of the thighs which is 38 inches. .I ordered a size 12 and it fits perfectly. I used it every day while snorkeling and was able to stay in the water for a long time. It was a comfortable jacket. The zipper on the front was easy to close/fasten. It took a little tug on the sleeve to get it off, but that's how the wetsuit fits. This allows for some water when your body warms up and keeps you warm while you're in the water. It's a lot easier than wearing a full wetsuit. I definitely recommend this jacket.
