I was most interested in this bag for its supposed water resistance. I once spilled a drink on my book because they were in the same bag. THE LINING on all pockets (so many pockets!) IS WATERPROOF! I was shocked! I tested this by turning one of the bags inside out and pouring water over it with a paper towel underneath. The water just stayed up and didn't seep onto the paper towel! I am sooo happy with this bag! The outer material is very soft, there is plenty of space in all pockets and I think it's great that you can also use it as a bag. Backpack or shoulder bag! And now I can put books in one bag and a water bottle in another without fear! Hooray!
