Bought as a gift. I assembled it for him and although the inside was already cracked from him "throwing" the remote, it was pretty easy and fun to try. I removed the shell from another controller a week before the shell switch, so I already knew how to do that part. Be sure to disconnect both connections internally so you don't damage the remote control. The only major issue I had was with the poles, they were difficult to put on and set up because they were new. After assembling the remote controller, be sure to press it down so that it can move smoothly.
