Super bright. Too bright. I use a 3000K lightbulb for outdoor lighting, but 3000K is just too harsh in the bathroom. I ended up buying a competitor's 2700K bulb and downgrading it to 40W because it was too bright. It was painful to watch and felt like I was under an interrogation lamp! Some People May Need It: The extra brightness can be helpful to get deep into your pores to remove excess dirt. But I just want to see how I'll look walking down the street, standing in front of a mirror. The bulb I ended up getting, which I liked better, had 350 lumens per bulb and had 2 filaments instead of just one. This lamp uses 4 filaments. I might have liked this bulb if it used 2 filaments instead and had a 40w version. But I think 2700,000 in the bathroom is what you really need, especially to get ready for bed.
