Just installed these on my 2004 Wrangler TJ to replace the stock headlights. They were still in good condition but there was an old sealed bar light inside. This is a great upgrade! I love her! Not only are they brighter than standard, but they also have a MUCH better radiation pattern. They shine where you need it, not where you don't. I never had a flash after using them and I aimed them where they light the road. I was actually worried that I would flare up because I was aiming so high, but after a week of driving in the dark for 1 hour every day, not a single flare. I used the bulb that came with it, but I plan on upgrading it later. They were about 30% brighter than my stock headlights. But don't let that fool you, they control the light so much that you can see much further. At least 2 times more! The high beam is probably 50% brighter than stock! And they are much more comfortable! In my opinion there is no better modernized light for the money. I tried 2 of these LED lights for almost twice the price and returned both as their radiation patterns were complete crap. They were light, yes. But they haven't put the light where it's needed. They just brightly lit the middle of the street. These headlights also hit the mark. Completely plug and play! Pros: Brighter than closed beam headlights. much flatter than the OE style light. (I think it looks better) The glass construction will not fade or scratch like cheap plastic competitor cases. Plug and play! Replaceable lightbulb. (Easy to replace with a better one) The dust cover fits well and looks well made. Cons: Not as fancy as LED or HID. (It's really subjective. I agree! But some will skip them for this.) Don't create a pre-built version of HID. (Please DO NOT install any HID kit in them. The reflector is not suitable for an HID bulb and will result in a complete mess of the beam! As with most lights without a projector body.) Overall, I LOVE these lights. In fact, they are just as good or even better than the headlights found in most modern cars that don't have projectors, LEDs or HID. some stock 2015 Wrangler headlights. But after seeing how good they are, I plan to buy better bulbs for them and save money for other improvements. Here are some photos of headlights for you. They were taken with my phone so they're not perfect but they give you a good idea of what the lights look like. The only thing the camera seems to have screwed up is that they are a little less white than in the photos. But a bit. And some good lightbulbs could easily make them exactly the same color and even a little brighter! Please note that I aimed them too low in these photos. Now they have a much better range if I aim them a bit more.
