FAULT, insufficient suction, hose too short, suction too low to reach tank, AVOID.

Engineer and boss cleaning up cat hair Guy with 40 years of experience always looking for something better than what I have now. That's NOT that. With the original little green cleaning machines that worked, I've tried pretty much everything that looked like might work well to remove grout and/or water applied to the mess that you clean up. I have given up letting the machine dispense cleaning solution as it causes other machines to fail (or in the case of this machine it doesn't). I ditch the spray gun and use an old vertical carpet cleaner with a manual nozzle to suck up the liquid. Works great but is large and difficult to stretch into small cleanses. This vacuum cleaner is the first portable battery I've tried. The suction power is terrible and this thing struggles to draw any liquid into the tank at all. I blotted myself with paper towels after this thing stopped soaking up liquid. Then I took out the original and she quickly pulled out the remaining liquid. If this is not sufficient, the hose is too short for any use. You need to have the device right next to the mess to have enough freedom of movement to move the hose needed to pull out the liquid. I will not say that the brush on the head is in several rows and works well. That's the only positive thing I see here. Mine is back and I suggest you save time and look elsewhere. AVOID.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Concerns me
