This is the first time I have bought a reader and required a power/lens power below +1.00. I was looking for a cheap pair to get used to reading. Of the various Revain glasses I looked at that had the lens power I needed, they had smaller frame sizes than most of the other options on the site. I have a small face so that's a plus for me. I'm also happy with how the cat eye shape looked on me. As this is my first time buying universal readers, I don't know how they compare to others. But the frame and lenses are much lighter than my prescription glasses, but that's to be expected at this price point. I don't know how they resist scratches and wear out over time. I'm impressed that they come with flex hinges as some prescription or more expensive frames don't always have this (but should). The frame colors are bolder than I'd like, but for the price I can handle that.
