Now I use the third one, they work very well, they are all different, the first one has a lid , because the filter kept falling off, the second tray didn't fit properly and I had to put it back in to get it working, the third so far so good. They really can't be cleaned other than blowing air through them every time you empty the tray. They last about 6 months, more or less, before the motor gets too clogged with nicotine to run. For the price it's worth it compared to others I've tried. (*even more expensive) So if you must smoke (like me) your best bet is to quit or quit. I am still working on it. PS be careful you have to use a ton of D batteries. About 2 dozen for an ashtray until it dies and you have to buy a new one.
